# Phone numbers

Who: Only the workspace owner buys or releases numbers. Owners and admins connect a line.

A number is what makes the phone ring. **Add number** offers three ways: connect the number your business already has, bring it to Komplian, or buy a new one in your city.

## Price

A local number costs **3 € a month** (30 € a year on a yearly plan), plus VAT, added to your subscription. You only pay while the number is active: billing starts the day it rings and stops the day you release it, prorated. Buying numbers needs an active plan, so it is not possible during the free trial. Only the workspace owner can buy or release them.

Connecting a line you already have costs nothing in Komplian. Your phone provider keeps billing you for it as today.

## Buy a number

### 1. Choose where
Open **Calls → When someone calls → Add number** and choose the country and the city. Numbers depend on what is free in each city right now.

### 2. Pick a number
Five are shown at a time. **Other numbers** shows the next ones.

### 3. Give your company details
Only the first time. See below.

### 4. Confirm the price
The number is ordered and appears under **Your numbers**, **In review**.

## Your company details

Telecom regulation requires knowing who holds each number. The first time, Komplian asks for:

- Contact person, business name and phone.
- Tax ID (CIF, DNI or NIE).
- ID or passport, or the company registration certificate (a document).
- An address in the province of the number.
- Proof of address: a recent bill or invoice (a document).

The documents are sent for that check only. Komplian does not keep a copy.

## Review and activation

Each number is checked before it is activated, usually within a few hours to a couple of days. The number shows **In review**, then **Active** by itself. If the details are refused it shows **Rejected**, and nothing is charged.

## Release a number

Open the number under **Your numbers** and choose **Release**. It stops ringing and stops being charged the same day. A released number goes back to the network and may be given to another business.

> While a number or your own line is in use, Calls cannot be switched off. Release them first.
