Build a catalogue without connecting a store.
Adding an item
Open Operations → Catalogue and select New item. A connected store is not required: an item you type in is a first-class part of the catalogue and the AI agent reads it like any other.
Choose what it is first
The panel asks for the kind of item before anything else, because that decides which fields follow. Physical goods ask for a barcode and a reorder point; a service asks for a duration; a subscription asks for a billing period. Nothing asks for a field it will then ignore.
The unit is suggested from the kind — units for goods, hours for a service, months for a subscription — and stops being suggested once you change it.
Who this is for
- Businesses on a custom eCommerce platform, or none at all.
- Service businesses: consulting, installation, maintenance, rentals.
- Anyone quoting made-to-order work, where the catalogue is a price list rather than a shelf.
- Trying the agent with a few sample items before connecting a real store.
