Adding Sources
Navigate to AI Agent → Knowledge Base and click Add New Source. You can add multiple sources to build a comprehensive knowledge base for your agent.
Source Types

| Website URL | Automatically scrape and index your website pages. |
| Upload PDF documents (size guides, policies, catalogs). | |
| Excel / CSV | Upload structured data in spreadsheet format. |
| Text | Paste plain text content directly. |
| FAQ | Add structured question-and-answer pairs. |
| Shopify / WooCommerce | Auto-synced from your connected store. |
Scraping Settings
When adding a website source, you can configure:
- Ignore selectors: CSS selectors for elements to skip (e.g.,
footer,[class*="footer"]). - Out-of-stock handling: Whether to include pages for out-of-stock products.
Sync Schedule
Choose how often Komplian re-scrapes your sources to keep knowledge fresh: Daily, Weekly, Biweekly, or Monthly.
