Slack
Connect Slack so your AI agent can answer customer support questions in selected channels.
Requirements
- A Slack workspace where you can install apps.
- Access to the public, private, or Slack Connect channels where Komplian should answer.
- Your Komplian plan must include connected channels.
Setup
- Go to Integrations → Slack and click Connect Slack.
- Authorize Komplian in Slack.
- Select the channels where the AI agent should respond.
- If a private or shared channel is missing, invite the Komplian bot to that channel and refresh the list.
How Slack Conversations Work
- Selected channels only: Komplian ignores messages from channels you have not enabled.
- Threaded replies: New messages create a thread, and replies stay in that same thread.
- Unified inbox: Each Slack thread appears as a separate conversation in Komplian Inbox.
- Slack Connect: Shared channels can be selected once the bot has access.
Human Handoff
When a teammate takes over a Slack conversation in Inbox, the AI pauses for that thread. Human replies sent from Komplian are delivered back to the same Slack thread.
